Opportunities

Facilities Officer

Job title Facilities Officer Salary: Up to £20,000 depending on experience
Reporting to: Administration Manager Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays

Hours: 40 hours (flexibility required, including evenings and weekends)
Key Relationships: Youth Zone staff, contractors, external organisations hiring facilities, young people and parents

We are looking for an experienced buildings manager with solid knowledge of running a large building that has its own building management system. You should be able to juggle lots of tasks at once, often having to re-prioritise at the last minute. Previous experience of managing staff would be an advantage. The right person would be one who is not afraid to negotiate the best deal for our charity, someone who is decisive and has strong interpersonal skills.

Hours: 12 hours minimum per week mainly evenings and weekends
Key Relationships: Youth Zone staff, external organisations, young people and parents

 

As a girl’s worker, you will be responsible for supporting your line manager in the management of the Girls Room and young women’s empowerment across the youth zone. The Girls Room is one of The Way Youth Zone’s activity rooms and where every young female member goes to at some point every visit.
