Commenting on his support as a Founder Patron of The Way, Chris Kelly said:

“I was brought up on the Deans Road estate, where my dad was the local bobby, and after Eastfield Secondary Modern school, I went on to become an apprentice at Attwood Garages in Chapel Ash. There was little or nothing for kids to do in those days, as much today I suppose, so when I was invited to the Bolton Lads & Girls club some time ago, I realised that this was such a worthy cause to support.”

“Hence I had no hesitation in wanting to help Steve Morgan and Bill Holroyd when they told me that the next club was to be in my old home town of Wolverhampton. I’m so convinced that our youth need this outlet, and more importantly, the guidance that the club will provide, that I have also pledged my ongoing support for the club. I sincerely hope local businesses, large and small, will do their bit and support the club ‎in any way they can.”

    WHY THE WAY

"“It has been amazing to see my daughter out grow her fears and get involved more with other children of all ages and disabilities. I am, as she is, so pleased that Wolverhampton has a place where all children can be themselves and do activities that they enjoy…”"

    WHY THE WAY

"“Had a fab evening at The Way, Wolverhamptons new youth zone. Great facilities. Lovely staff. Signed both the boys up as members and have had to drag them both away after 3 hours even though none of us have been home for tea yet!”"
