As you probably know, A-Level results day is Thursday 18th August.
You might have been dreading this day all summer but don’t worry, picking up your results is really quick.
Once you’ve got your results, check Track on the UCAS website. Track is available from 8am on that Thursday.
Try not to worry and good luck!
Need a bit of advice? What do I do if..?
My grades are awesome! I did loads better than I thought I would…
Congratulations! Do you know you can have a look at courses that have higher entry requirements? It won’t effect your conditional/firm offers either. Find out more about the UCAS Adjustment Service at www.ucas.com/ucas/undergraduate/apply-and-track/results/adjustment-–-if-you’ve-done-better-expected
My grades are OK but not what I needed…
If you just miss out, the university or college of your choice might accept you anyway – yey. You might get a place on either your firm or insurance choice. A Uni or College might give you a ‘changed course offer’ too which you can accept or decline.
If that doesn’t happening you can use Clearing service to see what courses still have vacancies.
If no decisions are showing, give your universities or colleges to find out what’s going on.
My grades are rubbish…
Search through Clearing service see what courses are available.
Can you get your exam re-marked?
If you can’t see anything you like in Clearing, look into other options like a gap year, work or an apprenticeship.
You can always reapply next year.
If you’ve got a place…
Congratulations! Your confirmation letter should appear in Track in about a week.
