YOUNG PEOPLE’S DEVELOPMENT GROUP – “The Pathway”

The Youth Zone is all about young people and as well as being governed by members of the local authority and business community who volunteer their time to ensure success of the Youth Zone, The Way is also supported by a Young People’s Development Group (YPDG) self-labled “The Pathway”.

The YPDG have been in existence from day one and is expanding all the time. From creating the concept and name of The Way for Wolverhampton Youth Zone and helping shape both the exterior and interior designs of the building to designing Hoardings which sit outside The Way and helping to recruit The Way’s first staff member – the group have had their say in all aspects.

“The Pathway” are now looking at interactive ways to promote The Way, community fundraising ideas and are continuously visiting and meeting other members from existing Youth Zones to help spread the word. Click here to find out more about the existing Youth Zone Network.
