Attending with a carer

Are you a young person that requires additional support when attending The Way?

Do you need to have carers attend and support your visits with us?

Do you have to have carers supervise your visits to The Way?

If the answers “Yes” to any of these, then there a few things that we need in order to make sure that this goes ahead without any hiccups.

As part of our safeguarding procedures, we ask that any adult that attends as a carer, to bring a copy of their DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Certificate and a form of identification (drivers license, passport etc.).

This is just so we can be sure who they are and that they are OK to be in the Youth Zone with other young people.

Unfortunately, if they do not bring these with them when they visit, this may mean that they are not allowed to enter the session, which may mean that you can’t attend as well (we don’t want that to happen!). So, make sure you remind them!

If you or your carer/s have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we will do all we can to help.
