The Way Youth Zone has become part of a city-wide, youth-led art exhibition, helping turn Wolverhampton into a vibrant open-air gallery.
As part of this exciting visual arts trail, artwork created by young people is now on display across the city – transforming everyday spaces into bold and colourful showcases of creativity.
We’re proud that our young people played a key role in the project, working with artist India Birtwisle to create Hands of the City – a powerful piece celebrating connection, community and the voices of young people in Wolverhampton.
Now on display at The Way, the artwork has transformed part of our Youth Zone into a public exhibition space, giving young people the chance to share their creativity with the wider community.
It’s a brilliant example of what happens when young people are given the opportunity to lead, create and shape the world around them – and we couldn’t be prouder.
