Climbing Wall Manager

Job Title: Climbing Wall Manager

Hours: 40 hrs a week, including 4 evenings and some Saturdays

Salary: £11.10 per hour

Location: Wolverhampton

Do you want to use your climbing skills to give young people an opportunity to develop new skills? We have an exciting opportunity within our Youth Zone to work with young people in our Climbing Wall. Applicants must have strong organisation skills to take responsibility for the climbing wall activities we offer, C.W.I. qualified and flexible in your working hours.

Music Youth Worker

Job Title: Music Youth Worker

Hours: Hours negotiable (maximum 30 hours a week)

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Location: School Street, Wolverhampton

We are looking for someone to enhance our music provision for our young people. The music offer at The Way Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Arts Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging Music programme that will be stimulating, fun and developmental. We have guitars, drums, keyboards and recording/music production equipment and we would love to add more music enthusiasts to our team to help our young people learn new creative skills. You will be involved in facilitating taster sessions, music projects and challenges which build young people’s engagement.

Boxing Youth Worker

Job Title: Boxing Youth Worker

Hours: Part time from 8 to 24 hours a week (including evenings & weekends

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Location: School Street, Wolverhampton WV3 0NR

To deliver an exciting Boxing programme which will engage young people aged 8 – 18 years (up to 25 for those with additional needs). The sports offer at The Way Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Sports Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging Boxing program that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of a single sport to young people, as well as facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges which build young people’s engagement, skills, and fitness levels. You will coach and develop teams and support volunteer sports coaches within the Sports Team, we are looking for a talented Boxing coach to become part of a team with a wide range of skills, who are also passionate about working with young people. Ideally, you will have experience, and a level 1 specific coaching qualifications, from a National Governing Body which is essential.
